Miscellaneous Fun Pictures

Entrance to Teshie Stake Center.  The Church property is almost always the nicest property in the neighborhood.  But it, like any nice property, is always walled and gated with barb wire at top.

There are several designs the Church uses here but this is a fairly new stake center.  Note how few cars are here on Sunday.  The rule of thumb is to try to have buildings serve congregations (wards) within a 40 minute walk.

Sunday Gospel Literacy Class Teshie 3rd Ward
"God is Good" on Tro Tro
This is 9 year old Hubert who plays the organ for Teshie 3rd Ward.  He and his 7 year old brother are  truly child prodigies on the organ!  He played beautifully with hardly looking at the book!
Hubert making us look like non-Africans!
Primary kids just beginning to settle down for their fun music time.

Tro Tro Fun!
Cool name for an African restaurant.....it didn't lure me in!!
Middle class suburbia!  Bucket is used for baths.  These are houses.
Laundry day in the hood.
These heavy wagons are all over the city.  They are used to move equipment or junk.  One guy pushes and one pulls......I think of it as an African little red wagon!

Birthday dinner for Doug Hadley.  Note fire on big dishes of Turkish food at the DNR Restaurant!! (real name and no, it is not "do not resuscitate")  Great food!!

Joseph works in our office who was an intern who has proven to be invaluable. He is displaying his paper to get his college diploma, which he was awarded that day.  He is also showing the certificate for being the top 2017 student of his class.  Very proud time and folks here gave him great praise.  He is much beloved; just a wonderful young man who is a very hard worker and extremely grateful.
