A Birthday Cake and Fun Road Pics

These are open storm drains that are everywhere here...used for urinals more than cars!  (I actually drove  the right front tire into one of these the first two weeks we were here.  Within 1 minute 6 guys who came from nowhere lifted the car out of ditch and onto road!)
Faustina, the young lady who cleans our apartment and several other couples' apartments had a birthday that we could all celebrate with her!  A wonderful young single lady who joined our church and is working hard to take on-line classes that will get her into online college.

Drive-thru Walmart Ghana style!

Plantains at the traffic light!

How is your pillow working?

  1. E/S Wakild we were excited to find your blog while looking for the one of E/S Redlin who came to serve there in early April. As we looked through your photos and comments it reminded us of our two missions in South Africa. Especially to ones showing women carrying heavy loads on their heads. We look forward to your future posts.
