Church at Danfa Ward

Each Sunday we attend a different ward in our capacity to oversee the Literacy Program. This particular Sunday we went to the Danfa Ward. Here is the sign leading down the dirt road to the church.

This is the dirt road leading to the church.

Outside of the building where the church meets. It is a converted house.

This is Sister Djisa, who is the Literacy Specialist for the Stake. She was very sweet and accommodating.

The Primary children were enjoying their singing time. They sounded lovely.

These are the Priesthood Brethren in their class.

As we were leaving church. All these people will walk home. A few will take a cab. There were only about 4 other vehicles in the parking lot, which was only the space in front of the house.

These are two of the men and young boy from church walking to their homes.

  1. We are catching up on some of your posts and were excited to see so many men at PH meeting. Where we served in South Africa there were seldom more than 8-10 in a ward or branch...usually less. Thanks for sharing your service there.
